Safety while driving a car is of crucial importance and many people overlook the importance of some good car tires with regards to that same safety aspect. When having high-quality tires your braking distance will decrease, you will have a superior grip and you will be able to securely drive from point A to point B no matter the meteorological circumstances. No vex Banden sells tires for all seasons and they needed a website which could inform clients of the different tires needed for the different seasons. Besides the season distinction, the website also needed to distinguish three types of cars and the corresponding sets of tires.
The basis of the website
Because the design company had clearly taken into account the different cars, seasons and the range of tires suitable for a particular season, we were delivered with some pretty and well-designed files. A clean and clear PSF file composed with some nice comp layers which could be easily used by our PSD to Wordpress developers. Because the PSD file had been neatly developed, we could bring our due dates forward, but before providing the client with the final project due date we needed to validate all pages together with the client to get a clear picture of the project objectives and requirements. As soon as our developers were aligned with the client, we could kick off the actual PSD to Wordpress process.
PSD to Wordpress
The PSD to Wordpress process often exists of three main steps. First of all we have the PSD to HTML conversion which on its turn is converted to a Wordpress theme. Upon completing the Wordpress theme the last process step is kicked off; the evaluation and feedback implementation together with the website installation the client server. Because we didn’t want to waste time our PSD to HTML developer immediately started the PSD file conversion. A big slider on the homepage, various product pages, several informative pages containing tabs and a blog containing the latest new. All in all it took the developer about a week to develop the HTML, CSS and Javascript. This splendid piece of work nevertheless led to a marvelous result.

When all HTML pages were properly displayed in the major browsers, the moment was there to start converting the HTML to a theme which could be used in each Wordpress installation. Because we wanted to make sure the Wordpress installation can be updated without issues at any time and because we needed a user-friendly admin panel, this part of the PSD to Wordpress process was executed by a true specialist. Besides converting the HTML to a Wordpress theme he also needed to build some advanced functionalities like a dealer locator. It was a true challenge for the developer to meet all the client requirements and desires but in the end he did a marvelous job. Free installation of the Wordpress theme
Although the end result blew us away, we are always dependent on the client’s final review round. Luckily enough also our client was amazed by the marvelous PSD to Wordpress conversion and we were allowed to install the whole project on the client’s server.
