How to install Askimet in WordPress
The Askimet plugin guarantees a suitable protection against SPAM. This plugin will scan all of your WordPress blog comments by means of a database in order to perform a proper SPAM control process. Normally the Askimet plugin is a standard part of your WordPress installation, but sometimes it has been removed to avoid possible conflicts. Is the Askimet Plugin not part of your custom WordPress theme but would you still to benefit from its characteristics? Log into your admin panel and click on ‘plugins’. Click ‘new plugin’ and search for ‘Askimet’. Click on ‘install now’ after choosing the correct Askimet plugin (please be careful because multiple results will be displayed). Upon installing the Askimet plugin, don’t forget to activate the plugin.
